The Killers guitarist Dave Keuning will not be playing in the band’s upcoming shows on tour. According to a Reddit post, it looks like Dave may have a leave of absence from work and would not be at shows, but will be in Montreal at that time.
Reditt users commented on the situation with a user named The Eagle Dare, saying that he sent a message to Dave on Instagram and the guitarist responded that he will be in Montreal.
Another user jh17_ thanked Eagle Dare but hoped that the guitarist will be in Toronto too. The user Rainbow Juices was skeptical about the situation and said he would appreciate a screenshot of the message to be sure of the information.
Reditt user pawneeasaurus said that Taylor/Tingo posted an Instagram stories video where they rehearsed a Smiths song with Ted Sablay and captioned it “See you out there @killers.” The user claimed that he is only there when Ted is in front.
It must be noted that people have mixed reactions because a user larki18 thought that Taylor will be in Australia and New Zealand so Dave won’t be there.
The user also made note that when Dave skipped the UK and Europe tour in the past then he made an announcement. Larki18 believes that there maybe another announcement on the horizon if Dave is not performing.
Reddit users had worries about his health with some hoping he is doing well. There were some who remembered the Battle Born tour and said that they haven’t seen him ever since.
Dave’s fandom is off the charts, but one can rest assured that his absence is dearly missed by music fans attending the current tour.
