Here in the UK, there are many bands and musicians who rake in a lot of money. Some to name off the top are Elton John, Rolling Stones, Oasis, and even though they are not any longer current – One Direction. With One Direction being out of the spotlight for sometime due to Harry Styles going his own way; there would be no way that the band still bring in a lot of money, right? Wrong.
As reported by Daily Mail – It was recently revealed that One Direction still bring in some of the most cash flow out of any artists. Perhaps the most wild part is that One Direction have also been noted to outsell Oasis in current day. One Direction reportedly raked in more than £3million in just one year while Oasis earned £2million, despite both bands having parted ways years previously.
The boyband – made up of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik – shared a cash payout of £3.2million last year, according to The Sun.
Each member of the band took home £640,000 from the impressive annual earnings, according to financial documents seen by the publication.
When it comes to Harry Styles, it’s hard to really say what he’s bringing in on his own as that is pretty hush-hush, but when you do the match quickly, he probably brings in about three million on his own when you consider the One Direction payout tied in with the hits and shows that he has under his belt on his own accord.
Certainly, Liam Gallagher is not really one to hold back, so it would be fun to hear how he feels about this as we would guess that he has a few choice words to either say about the band or those of us who like to point these things out.
