Muse praised Dave Grohl drumming rival Nandi Bushell for her “Plug In Baby” cover recently, saying she ‘absolutely killed it.’
Matthew Bellamy, the frontman of Muse, has now sent a guitar to Nandi as a gift. Matt and Dave appear to see her as the next great rock drummer!
”Hi Nandi, love the new covers,” Bellamy wrote in a letter with the guitar. “Thought you might like to perform some on my signature model. Best wishes, from Matt and the guitar team.”
Nandi wrote earlier this month, “This was one of my most CHALLENGING covers so far. The #Guitar and #Bass are so fast in ‘Plug In Baby’ I really had to practice a lot to get my playing up to speed. Everything you hear is me. No backing tracks. I recorded each track using Logic Pro. I am learning how to produce music now too.
This is my third @muse cover now. I want to be able to play like all 3 members of Muse. @mattbellamy , @ctwolstenholme78 and @domhoward77
