Life can be messy, but love can be too. It looks like Florence Pugh has learned it a different way after her cameo in Ted Lasso was cut due to the personal issues between Olivia Wilde and her ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis, after she reportedly left him for Harry Styles. A fan’s tweet revealed this information, and there’s still a stamp of approval required on that one.
The tweet shows Florence wearing a jersey from the new film Don’t Worry Darling. The jersey represents the fictional football club for the film AFC Richmond. Florence was uncomfortable with how Olivia handled her breakup with Jason. The approach to someone else’s life and their decisions may have cost Pugh her role.
It must be noted that during a presentation of Don’t Worry Darling at CinemaCon in April 2022, Olivia was served custody papers on stage. The manila envelope was given to her by a woman during her segment which read ‘Personal and Confidential.’ Liv was in the middle of her presentation for Don’t Worry Darling at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She thought it was some script of her work or the segment, but was taken aback by what was served to her. It can be said that she was swerved, and shockingly she said “OK, got it. Thank you.”
The couple first went public in 2011, engaged in 2013, and have two children, Otis and Daisy, ages 8 and 5, respectively. The couple has disagreements over the kid’s schooling and the father’s parental rights. Here’s what Jason has to say about the entire situation:
First, Olivia said that if I did not reside full-time in Los Angeles, she would allow me to spend time with Otis and Daisy on weekends and during vacation periods — thus depriving me of my right to parent the children during important periods of their lives. Second, Olivia said that she intended to relocate with the children to London following the close of school in 2023.
Olivia is dating Harry Styles now who is a part of the Don’t worry Darling team as an actor while Olivia is the director. The kids future and their view of the society will be impacted heavily due to two mature adults not understanding that both of them are needed for a child’s normal growth as a person and become a valuable society member.
What do you think should have been Florence Pugh’s approach during this controversy? Chime in.
