Victoria Beckham is setting the record straight about her family dynamic The singer and fashion designer, opened up about her family during her cover story interview for the October 2025 issue of Elle. In this interview, she clarified details about their lives that contradict recent tabloid speculation regarding any friction among them via PEOPLE.
The topic arose while she discussed her forthcoming Netflix documentary, “Victoria Beckham,” which reveals her vulnerable side—perhaps for the first time—and includes unscripted moments that even her children find hard to believe.
In defense, Victoria — who’s the mother of sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, and daughter Harper, 14 — told Elle, “That’s what the Beckhams do. We like to have fun. We like to spend time all together.”
“We’re a very traditional family, much more than I think people would realize,” she added, a sentiment opposite from the ongoing family drama amid reports of tension within her extended family, including her son Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
During the interview, Victoria reacted to Elle’s comment about how they “used to love seeing” her four kids, along with her husband, David Beckham, sit front row at her London Fashion Week shows (she now shows in Paris).
“That’s what we do. We all support each other,” she said in response, adding, “We always show up for each other.”
In Elle’s October 2025 cover story, Victoria opened up about her many reinventions while also reflecting on her four years as a Spice Girl and the evolution of her status in the fashion industry over the course of nearly two decades.
Victoria made clear that she’s been focused on work after 17 years, not what she calls “the noise.” She told the outlet, “It’s been such a journey…and it’s all been very public. Being the celebrity who is the brand is a double-edged sword.”
The mom of four’s interview comes amid a rumored family rift that reportedly began around Brooklyn and Nicola’s nuptials.
