Travis Kelce ‘urged’ Taylor Swift to be cautious as Blake Lively texts surface in Baldoni lawsuit filings
Travis Kelce has reportedly encouraged fiancée Taylor Swift to take a closer look at her friendship with Blake Lively after private text messages between the two women emerged in legal filings connected to Lively’s ongoing dispute with Justin Baldoni. The claims come as the long-running It Ends With Us legal battle continues to generate headlines, with Swift’s name repeatedly dragged into the surrounding publicity despite her not being a party to the case.
In the newly surfaced exchange from December 2024, Swift told Lively she felt a recent change in tone, likening some messages to a “mass corporate email” and saying she missed hearing from her friend “as herself,” The U.S. Sun reported.
An unnamed insider claimed Kelce noticed the dynamic had become uncomfortable and was “in her ear” about being “on guard,” encouraging Swift to address her feelings directly rather than letting things linger. The same source alleged Kelce did not “dislike” Lively but felt it was unfair on Swift, who he believed had been a loyal friend throughout the fallout. Representatives for Kelce and Swift were contacted for comment, the report said.
The texts were made public as part of filings in Lively’s lawsuit against Baldoni, which centres on allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation that he has denied. For related coverage on the case material, BritpopNews previously reported that Swift used blunt language about Baldoni in another message referenced in the court dispute.
The case remains ongoing, with further legal proceedings expected ahead of a trial date currently set for May 2026. With Swift and Lively not seen together publicly since late 2024, attention is likely to remain on whether the friendship can recover as the courtroom battle continues.
