Travis Kelce debuts $77k Cartier watch
Travis Kelce marked his latest Kansas City Chiefs contract signing by stepping out in a high-end Cartier watch that has been linked to fiancée Taylor Swift’s own timepiece choices.
Page Six reported that the 36-year-old wore a Santos de Cartier Skeleton watch with an open “skeletonised” dial, a model said to retail for $77,000, as he signed on for a new deal with the Chiefs.
The outlet said the signing was for a reported three-year, $54.735 million contract, and noted Kelce paired the watch with a colourful Nike top and a Chiefs cap for images shared on social media. The report added that Kelce is typically seen wearing Rolex watches, making the Cartier choice a notable switch for the occasion.
The watch selection also drew attention because Swift has been photographed wearing a different Santos model. Page Six said the singer showed off a Santos Demoiselle with a diamond bezel in December 2024, and later wore the discontinued style during Kelce’s reported proposal in August 2025, with similar pieces said to sell for around $25,000 on the secondhand market.
The couple’s public moments have often prompted fan interest, and earlier Britpop News coverage noted that Donna Kelce addressed speculation about Travis and Taylor’s wedding plans as their engagement continued to make headlines.
Neither Kelce nor Swift has commented publicly on whether the Cartier watch was chosen as a personal nod, but Page Six said it was unclear if Swift’s Santos Demoiselle was a gift from Kelce.
