Taylor Swift was recently “shocked” when she walked into the surprise party Travis Kelce threw for her, a source told Page Six.
The pop superstar was “blown away” that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 35, “went out of his way” to throw her an Eras Tour wrap party.
“Taylor couldn’t have been more shocked when she saw everyone standing there,” the insider told the outlet.
“That was the last thing she was expecting and she couldn’t believe Travis went out of his way to throw a surprise party for her,” the source adds. “She thought it was so thoughtful and such a sweet gesture. It really meant so much to her.”
The insider also told Kelce “had this party planned for a while” and it was “something he knew he wanted to do” for Swift.
The Super Bowl champion “wanted to throw Taylor a surprise party because he felt like she deserved a huge celebration after all the hard work she’s put in.”
Kelce is “so proud of her” and “thankful he was able to pull it off without a hitch,” the insider notes.
The Grammy winner’s Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Ariz., in March last year and recently concluded in Vancouver on December 8th.
Page Six confirmed Thursday that the “Cruel Summer” singer’s boyfriend was behind the get-together.
The “End of Eras Tour” party asked guests to come dressed in their best Eras Tour garbs, inspired by many of Swift’s different looks throughout the decades.
