A source told RadarOnline that Swift “doesn’t waste moves” and likes to take chances to “reclaim a narrative.” Fans also noticed the bold orange colors on Swift’s cover art look similar to West’s Pablo artwork. Many believe this is her way of getting even.
For those who don’t know, the feud began in 2009. While Swift was giving her speech for Best Female Video, West ran onstage, took her microphone, and said Beyoncé had “one of the best videos of all time.” Swift later said she felt humiliated by the moment.
Now, with The Life of a Showgirl set to release on October 3, Swift’s friend says she isn’t planning daily revenge—but if she can “flip the script” in small ways, she will. The friend added it would be “poetic justice” if her album appears before West’s in internet searches for “The Life of…”
