It looks like there’s been some serious tension between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively over the It Ends With Us drama involving Justin Baldoni. Swift even skipped Kelce’s game following her after-party.
According to TMZ, Taylor feels like she was used by Blake in her dispute with Justin, especially after Blake referred to her as one of her “dragons.” The issue stems from a meeting at Blake and Ryan Reynolds’ NYC penthouse, where Justin was confronted over a rewritten scene. Justin later said he felt ambushed when Taylor and Ryan unexpectedly showed up.
However, a source close to Taylor claims she had no idea about the meeting and simply arrived when Blake told her to, unaware that Justin would be there. Taylor reportedly only met him briefly and expressed excitement about the movie. Now, she feels blindsided and believes Blake deliberately timed her arrival to make it seem like she was part of the confrontation.
Beyond that, Taylor is also said to be frustrated with Blake for using her name inappropriately, including falsely claiming that Taylor had cast a young actress in a role.
Despite the drama, sources close to Blake insist there’s no strain in their friendship and that they still talk regularly. Another insider claims Blake has since apologized, and the two had an emotional conversation where they hugged it out.
Given their close history—Taylor is even the godmother to one of Blake and Ryan’s kids—it’ll be interesting to see if things fully smooth over or if there’s lingering tension.
