Reports suggest that pop icon Taylor Swift cost Justin Baldoni some big bucks in his protracted legal battle with “It Ends With Us” co-star Blake Lively via Page Six.
Street Relations Inc., a crisis PR firm employed by Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, requested more money last year over fears about Lively’s friend Taylor Swift’s ardent legion of fans, according to TMZ.
As per legal documents obtained by the outlet Tuesday, someone from Baldoni’s team tacked on an extra $30,000 to deal with possible retaliation by Swifties.
“The social team are now worried about Blake activating the Taylor Swift fan base, which is a major concern,” read an email dated August 7, 2024.
“With this in mind and to ensure Justin and the studio are 100% protected moving forward, they have now changed the fee to $30,000 per month due to the uptick in social chatter.”
The following day, an invoice for $30,000 was sent to Baldoni, billing Wayfarer Studios, from Jed Wallace’s Street Relations Inc. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Lively told Page Six that the “incredibly damning” email is part of the “overwhelming evidence” documenting the smear campaign against the star of “Another Simple Favor.”
Lively, 37, has been involved in a long-running lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, since she alleged in December 2024 that the actor had sexually harassed her on set. Baldoni has denied the allegations made by the “Gossip Girl” alum and countersued her, but a judge dismissed his $400 million lawsuit in June.
