Selena Gomez Reveals Taylor Swift’s Handmade Birthday Gift
Ms Selena Gomez has shared details of what she called the “sweetest” present she has received from her best friend Ms Taylor Swift, revealing the pop star created a bespoke painting to mark Gomez’s 30th birthday.
During an appearance on the “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast, Page Six reported that Gomez said Swift painted “a beautiful lake” on cloth and included hand-sewn lettering, along with the pair’s star signs, to commemorate the milestone.
Gomez described the artwork as a night scene featuring the moon and stars, and said Swift stitched the message “Here’s to the next 30 years” with “From Taylor to Selena” sewn by hand. She also said Swift hand-wrote lyrics to a song she wrote about her, while Gomez added in the episode that Swift’s track “Dorothea” was written about her, alongside a vault song titled “Family” about their friendship.
The two have been friends since 2008, and Gomez has previously appeared alongside Swift at major awards ceremonies and public events, including occasions covered in our report on Selena Gomez going to a party with Taylor Swift.
The comments offered a rare glimpse into the private gestures behind the pair’s long-running friendship, and come as both stars continue to draw intense public interest around their personal milestones and creative work.
