Rumors have emerged about whether Prince William would reconcile with his estranged brother, Prince Harry via Yahoo. King Charles recently met with Harry in September at Clarence House in London. It was a private tea between father and son. Reportedly, the King and Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, would like some forward movement in this divide between William and Harry.
There have been rumors that a reconciliation before Christmas could be a possibility for the feuding brothers. Recently, Prince William mentioned his brother for the first time in seven years. He was appearing on The Reluctant Traveler, the AppleTV+ series. Prince William and Eugene Levy had a relaxed conversation, yet hearing Harry’s name was a jolt.
Speaking of his plans for the monarchy, William told Eugene, “I hope we don’t go back to some of the practices in the past that Harry and I had to grow up with. I’ll do everything I can to make sure we don’t regress in that situation,” he added.
Now, an insider told National Examiner that Prince William’s mention of Harry was “an olive branch.”
William is also “finally coming around to the idea of truce talks.” But the decision has come at the urging of Kate and King Charles.
The source continued, “There’s no way he’s willing to pick up the phone and do this casually.” The insider added that any further interaction between the brothers “would need to be a supervised discussion, handled with total discretion.”
“There’s only so much resistance he can put up against his own wife and father, who are telling him in no uncertain terms that enough is enough and it’s high time for peace,” the insider stated.
