Zara Tindall recently talked about the ongoing tensions within the royal family after Prince Harry’s interview with the BBC earlier this month. She said that, while it’s hard to understand from the outside, the royal family deals with the same struggles as any other family. Zara, who is the daughter of Princess Anne and niece of King Charles III, added that they still support each other despite everything.
In his BBC interview, Prince Harry opened up about personal issues, including that his father, King Charles, isn’t speaking to him due to disagreements over security. After stepping down as a senior royal in 2020, Harry offered to pay for police protection during visits to the U.K., but the government refused. He later sued them over it but lost the case in early 2024.
Following the ruling, Harry said he couldn’t imagine bringing Meghan and their kids, Archie and Lilibet, back to the U.K. under the current conditions. Still, he expressed hope for reconciliation with his family, saying life is too short to keep fighting. He also shared how sad it is that he may not be able to show his children the country he loves.
