Prince Andrew ‘Dragging His Heels’ Over Wood Farm Move
Prince Andrew is reportedly delaying his departure from Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate, a move that has affected plans for Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, during the Easter holiday period.
People reported via AOL that Prince Edward visited his brother to discuss his continued use of Wood Farm, after Edward and Sophie were said to have hoped to stay there over Easter but instead used Gardens House elsewhere on the Norfolk estate.
According to the report, Andrew, 66, had been expected to treat Wood Farm as a temporary base after being ordered to surrender Royal Lodge in Windsor, before moving into another Sandringham property, Marsh Farm, once renovations were completed.
The situation has added to wider scrutiny around Andrew’s presence on the estate, following Britpop News reporting that King Charles reportedly warned Andrew over move costs connected to his relocation.
The article also stated that Andrew was arrested at Wood Farm on 19 February, his 66th birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office, and was later released under investigation as authorities examine an allegation he shared confidential information with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as a UK trade envoy.
