During Oasis’ recent show in Tokyo, Japan, Noel Gallagher missed the outro of the 1994 classic, Supersonic and was jokingly scolded by brother Liam Gallagher. A video clip has also emerged of the incident.
Noel: Sorry about that, obviously I was having too much fun then
Liam: Told you not to have that chicken chow mein before, fucking noodles man
Noel: Do i look like fucking [unintelligible]
Liam: Always have them with your whistle
Noel: Let’s see if I can get this one right
The exchange was classic Oasis and was filled with the sibling chemistry that made their live shows legendary. Fans have since shared clips of the moment, celebrating it as proof that even after years apart, the Gallaghers’ onstage dynamic remains as entertaining as ever.
Oasis is reportedly planning to target major film awards with a feature-length documentary that captures their highly-anticipated reunion. This ambitious project will chronicle the return of Noel and Liam Gallagher to the stage after nearly 20 years apart, and it is being positioned as a contender for the Oscars and BAFTA awards.
To qualify for the 2027 awards season, the film must be released by March 2026. The studio is reportedly confident that it has all the elements of a major contender.
The documentary is expected to cover not only the band’s blockbuster comeback shows, which started in the UK and continued across Australia and the US, but also the complicated behind-the-scenes journey that finally brought the famously feuding brothers back together.
The Sun reported that a source described the footage as “dynamite.” It was reported that “This film has captured music history and the footage is incredible. The drama off stage, covering the steps that began their reunion, are as good as any Hollywood blockbuster.
“It really is dynamite. The brothers are opening up in a way we have never seen before. It will be very emotional for not only them to look back on, but fans, too.”
