Morrissey is canceling even more shows after prematurely ending his disastrous Los Angeles concert.
“Due to band illness, we are devastated to announce we cannot proceed with tonight’s show in Salt Lake City and tomorrow’s show in Denver.
Thank you to the fans for the ongoing love and support while we take a moment to restore and recover. All being well, M and the band will be back on stage in Minneapolis on Friday night.

I Touched Morrissey commented on Reddit, “Sorry Morrissey, but you have been replaced by Dave Grohl as my favorite artist. He performs after breaking his leg.”
EgyptianShumba said, “I wonder how many artists/musicians secretly dislike Dave Grohl for continuing to play after breaking his leg, as it definitely sets the bar very high for others to cancel a show! (And Foo Fighters still had to cancel several shows after that, so it’s not like Grohl’s broken leg did not affect the rest of the tour).
For some reason, I am now reminded of my sister and her roommate who used to hide pictures of Dave Grohl around their apartment, because they thought he was so cool, funny and sympathetic. Not sure how frequently they put on a Foo Fighters record. The good news is, I suppose, that it’s possible to have Dave Grohl as your favorite artist without ever having to listen to his music!”
