Meghan Markle has hired Sarah Fosmo, who used to work for Bill Gates, as her first chief of staff. According to The Telegraph, Fosmo will now be Meghan’s top advisor as she starts a busy new chapter in her career. This includes season two of her Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan, her business As Ever, and her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder.
Fosmo will help manage this new period of growth. She has said she is a skilled professional with many years of experience working for very wealthy and high-profile people. Before joining Meghan, she spent six years working for Gates Ventures, Bill Gates’ private office. Before that, she worked for seven years as a senior assistant to motivational speaker Tony Robbins.
On the same day this news came out, Zara Tindall, King Charles’ niece, spoke about the struggles the royal family faces. In an interview with The Sun, Zara, who is the daughter of Princess Anne and married to former rugby player Mike Tindall, said the royal family goes through the same problems as many others. She said things like relationship issues are common and that the family still supports each other.
Her comments came after a tough year for the royal family. Both King Charles and Kate Middleton revealed they were being treated for cancer. Kate later said she was cancer-free, while King Charles is still receiving treatment.
