Madonna, one of the richest self-made women in the world, is reportedly planning something surprising with her $850 million fortune. Instead of leaving it to her six children, Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy, Stella, and Estere , she may give much of it to the Kabbalah movement, a form of Jewish mysticism that she credits with transforming her life.
According to a source who spoke to #ShuterScoop, Madonna believes Kabbalah “saved her soul” and helped her through fame, heartbreak, and health struggles. For her, leaving her wealth to Kabbalah is a way of giving thanks and ensuring its teachings continue to spread long after she’s gone.
However, the decision has reportedly caused tension within her family. Her children are said to feel “shaken” and see the move as “a betrayal,” even though they deeply love her.
This would not be the first time Madonna has supported the Kabbalah Centre. The pop icon has been studying there since 1996 under teacher Eitan Yardeni, guided by the late Rav Berg. By 2011, she had reportedly donated at least $18 million to the organization.
Recently, Madonna launched a new project titled The Mystical Studies of the Zohar, a Kabbalah master class designed to help people find happiness and spiritual clarity. She described studying the Zohar as a pathway to becoming a better human being, a belief that seems to explain why she may want her legacy to go beyond fame and fortune.
