Oasis has been one of the most-discussed bands of 2025 due to their reunion tour. Now that the band has been back together for a handful of months, fans are naturally hopeful that this could lead to a new Oasis album, which would be the band’s first since 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul.
Unfortunately for fans, though, Liam Gallagher does not seem at all interested in making fresh Oasis music.
When asked by a fan for new music Liam responded:
“I honestly don’t see the point it won’t be as good as the old stuff. I’m quite happy singing the old stuff I’m not one of those WANKERS that need to keep pushing it forward or sideways or backwards. In some cases NOSTALGIA forever.”
He also continued to hype up potential additional tour dates, tweeting, “There’s loads more classics we need to play for you when we go out again”
Also in response to a user asking him what he wants for Christmas, Liam teased: “A European tour.”
Noel Gallagher previously assembled a compilation featuring post-2000 Oasis classics and B-sides, but the project was shelved after Liam rejected the idea.
As per reports via The Sun, reviving that album is now one of several proposals being explored following the band’s hugely successful comeback.
Oasis are also set to open temporary retail locations in London and Dublin in December to sell merchandise and showcase content from the band’s 2025 global tour, with both stores operating through December 21st.
The London store opens December 4th at 44-46 Regent Street, under the Piccadilly Lights, while the Dublin location launches December 5 at Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. The shops mark the conclusion of the Oasis Live ’25 tour and offer fans access to new and exclusive merch, a restocked adidas Originals range, vinyl and more.
