Liam Gallagher Sparks Oasis Speculation After New “See You Next Year” Tweets
Liam Gallagher has sparked fresh speculation about the future of Oasis after dropping a series of cryptic but hopeful messages on X (Twitter) that suggest the reunion may not end with the current Live ’25 tour. In a report from Far Out Magazine, Gallagher responded to fan questions about 2026 plans by saying the band would need to “sit down and discuss” what comes next.
The last scheduled show of the Live ’25 world tour takes place on 23 November in São Paulo, but Liam’s online comments have kept the door wide open. When a fan asked whether Oasis would tour again in 2026, he initially replied “NO,” but quickly followed it with a firm clarification: “YES I’m f**king serious.” He then added that while he wants to tour indefinitely, decisions aren’t his alone.
“You will see me next year and the year after and so on,” he wrote in another post. “Just not sure yet if it’ll be with Oasis. We need to sit down and discuss these things. If it was all up to me then — you know we’d be touring till the day we die as it’s the best thing in the world — but unfortunately it’s not.” The full exchange is documented in Far Out Magazine.
His comments follow an NME report noting that Liam’s on-stage remark — “See you next year” — raised eyebrows among fans who assumed the reunion was strictly a 2025 operation.
For Oasis fans in the UK and beyond, the new messages hint at the possibility that the revival could extend beyond this year’s tour. Whether it means new dates, a special event, or simply more solo activity from Liam remains unknown — but the singer’s tone suggests the story of Oasis in the 2020s is far from finished.
