Liam Gallagher Says Oasis Reunion Tour “Saved My Life”
Liam Gallagher has opened up about the personal transformation that came with the Oasis reunion. In a new interview with People, the 53-year-old frontman said the band’s 2025 Live ’25 world tour “saved my life,” crediting the experience with restoring his health, discipline, and sense of purpose after years of chaos.
Gallagher revealed that he quit drinking, smoking, and drugs ahead of the massive tour, which has sold out stadiums across Europe, Australia, and South America. “You can’t fake this kind of energy,” he said, describing the renewed bond with his brother Noel as “medicine.” The Evening Standard praised the comeback as “the feel-good rock story of the decade,” noting that critics and fans alike have called the shows some of Oasis’s best performances in years.
The reunion, long considered impossible, has reignited global interest in Britpop’s golden era. Social media has been flooded with footage of fans weeping during “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” underscoring the emotional weight of the band’s return. As the tour winds down, Gallagher hinted at encore dates in 2026, teasing that “the lads aren’t done yet.”
For Liam, this wasn’t just a comeback—it was a resurrection. “It’s good for the soul,” he told People. “It’s what we were put here to do.”
