Kylie Jenner recently talked about why she wore a shiny gold dress with cutouts to Justin and Hailey Bieber’s 2019 wedding party. Some people thought she went too far and tried to outshine the bride. Kylie told Vogue that she didn’t mean to do that, she just thought everyone would be dressing up. She said Hailey and Justin didn’t seem to mind and even joked, “Hailey, call me if you have an issue.”
“I think people were, like, a little upset that I went all out,”
“But they didn’t care, I don’t think,” she added as she mimed picking up a phone. “Hailey, call me if you have an issue,” she laughed.
The dress got a lot of attention at the time. Kylie wore gold heels, a butterfly-shaped clutch, and had a butterfly pin in her hair. She said now she probably wouldn’t wear something like that to a wedding, but she loved the look and had a great time , she was even the last one to leave the party.
Some fans online said it was rude of her to dress that fancy and accused her of trying to look better than the bride. But Kylie and Hailey are still close friends, and Hailey recently supported Kylie at her makeup pop-up event. So, there’s no drama between them.
In the end, Kylie admits it might not have been the best outfit choice, but she had fun and didn’t mean any harm.
