King Charles has surprised people by bringing Prince Andrew back into the Royal Family, even after everything that happened in the past.
RadarOnline.com says that the 76-year-old King, who is fighting cancer, wants to give his younger brother Andrew, 65, another chance. Some experts believe Andrew might soon return to working as a royal again.
Prince Andrew showed up at the Easter church service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor—his first public appearance in a year. He came with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and was seen smiling, laughing, and talking to King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Royal expert Phil Dampier said the King still cares about his brother and doesn’t want him to be left out completely. He added, “It looked like the family was sticking together,” but said it’s too soon to say Andrew is fully back.
Andrew wants to return to royal duties. Some think the recent news about his accuser, Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she is dying after a car crash in Australia, may have made him feel a bit more supported.
Prince William and Kate Middleton didn’t attend the service. They were at a different church with their children. Dampier said William strongly believes Andrew should not return to royal life and that there is tension between them. He added that it might have been easier for Andrew since William wasn’t there.
Andrew and Sarah arrived in a car with Princess Anne and her husband Sir Timothy Laurence. They spoke with Charles and Camilla when they arrived in their fancy Bentley. Other royals, like Prince Edward, Sophie, and their son James, came on foot.
Princess Eugenie was there with her husband Jack Brooksbank, and her sister Princess Beatrice, who recently had a baby, came with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
