Kim Kardashian says she listens to Taylor Swift’s older songs in rare nod to feud
Kim Kardashian has made a rare public comment about Taylor Swift, saying she has some of the singer’s older tracks in her playlist despite their long-running fall-out dating back to Kanye West’s 2016 song lyric controversy.
During an episode of Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, LADbible reported that Kim said she listens to some of Swift’s earlier music and described her as a “super talented” artist.
The remarks came as Khloé asked whether people would be surprised to learn Kim listens to Swift, prompting the reality star to say she had previously spoken about it and praised Swift’s ability as a performer. The exchange revived attention on the pair’s decade-long dispute, which began after West’s track ‘Famous’ included a lyric about Swift, and intensified when Kardashian shared edited footage of a phone call in which West discussed the line.
The two have continued to be linked through later references, including widespread speculation that Swift’s 2024 song ‘thanK you aIMee’ referenced Kardashian. Kardashian has previously suggested the dispute was behind her, and her latest comments appeared to strike a conciliatory tone amid renewed online interest in the history.
Kardashian’s latest acknowledgement is likely to be closely read by fans given the high-profile nature of the feud, but neither camp has indicated any formal reconciliation beyond the reality star’s insistence that she rates Swift’s music and talent.
