Katy Perry was seen saying “bon appétit” to Justin Trudeau as the two were spotted dining together at a swanky restaurant in Montreal.
In new footage obtained by TMZ, the pop star and the former Canadian Prime Minister were seen enjoying a meal on Monday night at Le Violon. Katy appeared engaged in their conversation, leaning across the table for what looked like a thoughtful discussion.
An eyewitness reported that they sipped cocktails and shared several dishes, including one with lobster. Security guards were present, keeping watch by sitting at the bar with their backs turned, monitoring the pair through mirrored glass.
At one point, the chef came out to greet them, and after their meal, Katy and Justin went to the kitchen to personally thank the staff.
Katy is currently touring Canada, performing tonight in Ottawa, with another show scheduled for tomorrow back in Montreal. As you may know, Katy has been embracing single life following her split from Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter. Meanwhile, Trudeau and his ex-wife Sophie separated in 2023 after an 18-year marriage.
While it’s unclear whether this was a romantic date or just a friendly hang.
