Prince William Visits British Soldiers in Estonia Amid Reports Kate Treats Him “Like a Child” Prince William recently traveled alone to visit British troops in Estonia while reports surfaced that his wife, Kate Middleton, treats him “like a child,” according to RadarOnline.com.
On March 21, Prince William, 43, wore full British Army gear and visited Camp Tapa, a military base about 125 miles from the Russian border. His visit was to show support for NATO and British soldiers stationed there as part of “Operation Cabrit,” a mission set up after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.
The UK has sent about 900 troops to Estonia and Poland for this operation. During his visit, William watched soldiers train, inspected military vehicles, and attended a ceremony where one regiment (the Royal Dragoon Guards) handed over their duties to another (the Mercian Regiment), which William leads as Colonel-in-Chief.
He even rode in a tank and later shared his experience on social media, writing on X:
“From field training to weapon systems operation, this deployment is key! So brilliant to see the dedication and expertise of our troops in action.”
William also played pool and chatted with soldiers, showing his strong connection to the military. Before becoming a full-time royal, he served as a pilot in the Royal Air Force.
Reports About William’s Behavior at Home
At the same time, reports came out claiming that Kate Middleton sometimes treats William like her “fourth child” because he gets frustrated easily.
Royal author Tom Quinn told Fox News Digital that William can have “tantrums” when things don’t go his way.
“Occasionally, William gets upset if things aren’t done the way he wants them to be,” Quinn said.
He added that Kate is very patient with him and uses the same techniques she uses with their three kids—Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis (6)—to help calm him down.
People who work at Kensington Palace even joke that Kate treats William like another one of their children. One palace worker said, “We don’t know where William would be without Kate’s calming presence.”
