Kanye West is in the news again for making a controversial joke about his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. In a text message to DJ Akademiks, he made a crude comment about her past tape with Ray J.
West suggested that he and Ray J should make a “part two” of the tape and asked, “Who’s gonna hit it first?” This referred to Ray J’s 2013 song I Hit It First, which many believe was about Kardashian after she started dating West. Akademiks laughed at the message, and West replied with laughing emojis.
So far, Kardashian and Ray J have not responded. West and Akademiks also talked about doing another interview, following their recent one where West wore a black Ku Klux Klan-style outfit and said he never wanted kids with Kardashian.
Kardashian and West were married from 2014 to 2022 and have four children: North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5). Their divorce was finalized in November 2022.
West married Bianca Censori in December 2022, but their relationship has had problems. In his new song Bianca, he said she had a panic attack and left him, even trying to get him committed.
West has also been making angry posts online, including complaints about co-parenting with Kardashian. Reports say she may take legal action to limit his custody of their kids.
