Kanye West reportedly wants to show support for Diddy by attending his sex trafficking trial, according to CNN. He has been in contact with Diddy’s team and may go to court when the defense begins presenting their side, which could be next week.
West is said to have grown close with Diddy’s son, King Combs, and they’ve been working on music together. Kanye has been one of the biggest stars to defend Diddy since serious accusations were made against him in 2023.
Recently, rapper Kid Cudi testified against Diddy. He claimed Diddy broke into his home, hurt his dog, and set his Porsche on fire. Cudi used to be signed to Kanye’s record label. After hearing about this, Kanye posted online saying, “I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff.” He also said that people shouldn’t rely on “white systems” and that he was praying for Diddy and his family.
Kanye also questioned Cassie’s claims against Diddy. Cassie is Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, who accused him of abuse. Kanye even called Diddy’s violent behavior in a hotel with Cassie “true love,” saying sometimes love can turn into rage. He said he understood both sides.
After that incident, Kanye started selling a hoodie like the one Cassie wore in the hotel video and claimed he made over $30,000. Many people online were angry and called him “evil” for trying to profit off the situation.
