Kanye West is upset and threatening to seek sole custody of his four children with Kim Kardashian. He claims that Kardashian “exploited” their eldest child, North, for “personal or commercial gain” after she took North to the Met Gala without his permission. West says this violated their 2022 divorce agreement.
West, who is currently living in Spain, also claims Kardashian is not allowing him to see their children — North, 11; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 5. He says she is “denying” him access and has violated their joint custody agreement.
While North didn’t attend the Met Gala, she and Kardashian shared videos and photos of themselves preparing for the event on social media. West was angry about this, telling Kardashian through his lawyers that he considered it “unauthorized exposure.” He also expressed concern that North was left alone in a car at the event, fearing it could have been unsafe for her.
West accused Kardashian of using North’s image for personal or commercial purposes without his consent. He also claimed he hasn’t had “meaningful access” to his children, especially Saint, with whom he says he’s had no contact this year. West believes that Kardashian has unfairly restricted his interactions with their children, violating their custody agreement.
