It seems that Justin Timberlake is living in Travis Kelce’s world. Timberlake, 44, cracked a joke about how he’s now the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s backup dancer as he shared a video of them dancing via Instagram.
“We are just @killatrav‘s backup dancers now,” he captioned the Wednesday, April 30, video.
The video was captured at Timberlake’s 8AM Invitational golf tournament in Las Vegas last weekend. Kelce, can be seen leading the former NSYNC member and comedian Andrew Santino in an impromptu dance session on the course. Using his club as a microphone, Kelce appears to take the lead, with Timberlake and Santino, dancing behind him.
As Kelce improvised at the end of the video, he and Timberlake share a laugh and a handshake.
Of the three, only Timberlake has experience dancing professionally, and it showed in the video. Santino took to the comments with an excuse at the ready.
“The tequila had me leaning,” he joked.
“The vibes were unmatched!!” Kelce added, with one fan replying to him that the trio should join Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on tour as her backup dancers.
The tournament was a rare public appearance for Travis, who has kept a low-profile since his Chiefs lost the Super Bowl in February. With the football season over and Swift’s Eras Tour having concluded, the two were hoping to temporarily live a more normal life, a source previously told Us Weekly.
“Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love,” the source added. “They’re just taking a break from the public eye.”
