On Thursday, attentive social media users noticed that the two no longer follow each other on Instagram, reigniting rumors of a long-standing feud. The A-listers previously made headlines in 2023 when they began following each other via Page Six.
Fans have speculated that either Bieber or Gomez recently blocked the other, making it look like a mutual unfollow. Many were surprised that the pair ever followed each other in the first place.
Others lamented the “tired” drama, with one pleading, “Lord let us be free.”
The model has been married to Justin Bieber, with whom Selena Gomez had an on-and-off relationship from 2010 to 2018, for nearly seven years. In a September 2022 interview on “Call Her Daddy,” Hailey claimed that there was “all love” between her and Selena. The two went viral the following month after they posed together for smiling photos at the Academy Music Gala.
Despite this apparent reconciliation, rumors about an ongoing feud between them have persisted over the years. In 2023, when Hailey received death threats from online haters, Gomez showed her support by backing her on Instagram Stories.
