A close friend of Justin Bieber, Ryan Good, thinks the singer might be part of a cult, according to a new report from TMZ. Good, who co-founded Bieber’s clothing brand Drew House, hasn’t spoken to him in over a year. The reason? Concerns about Bieber’s pastor, Judah Smith.
Smith is a leader at Churchome in Beverly Hills, where Bieber is a member. Good reportedly left the church because he believed it acted like a cult. He was especially worried when Bieber made Smith a board member of Drew House, even though Smith isn’t a businessman.
Good used to be Bieber’s road manager and is said to be very concerned about Bieber’s recent behavior. This includes Bieber suddenly quitting Drew House and telling fans not to buy from the brand anymore.
In public, Bieber has also acted strangely , like swaying back and forth at a skincare event for his wife Hailey and going on Instagram Live with droopy eyelids while rapping. While his rep denied any drug use, calling the rumors “exhausting,” other people who used to work with him are now worried about his mental health. One former team member said, “He’s lost,” and claimed that no one close to Bieber tells him “no” anymore. So far, Bieber, his team, Churchome, and Ryan Good haven’t responded to these concerns publicly.
