Justin Bieber gave fans in Ontario an unforgettable surprise when he dropped by Chicago Pub & Billiards in Cambridge without any warning. The visit came just days after the release of Swag II, the bonus reissue of his seventh studio album Swag, which debuted only 56 days earlier.
According to pub staff, no one had advance notice of Bieber’s arrival. Once there, the Stratford-born superstar relaxed with friends by playing billiards, darts, and even stepping up for karaoke. He performed several of his own hits, including “Speed Demon,” “Go Baby,” “All The Way,” and “Things You Do.” Bieber later shared photos from the night on Instagram with the caption, “I’m a gamer what can I say.”
Fans in the small city were stunned. One Belieber commented, “That is legit bananas that this is in Cambridge.”
The fun didn’t end there. Bieber also stopped by The Mule, another local spot, where he and his wife Hailey Bieber posed for pictures with a fan. Hailey, meanwhile, was busy in Toronto earlier in the week hosting a launch party at Bar Prima for Rhode, her skincare and makeup brand now available at Sephora Canada.
Although Bieber and Hailey own a $5 million home on nearby Puslinch Lake, catching him casually enjoying a night out in Cambridge was still a rare and exciting sight for locals, proof that even global megastars sometimes just want to hang out like everyone else.
