Leaked Justin Bieber Coachella rehearsal tracks spark fan split
Justin Bieber is set to headline Coachella this weekend, marking his first concert performance since 2023, but online debate has erupted after a reported setlist leak suggested he may include covers alongside his biggest hits. The claims emerged days before the festival as fans tried to identify songs from rehearsal audio circulating on social media.
Tyla reported that residents living near Indio, California, shared recordings they said captured Bieber’s rehearsals, prompting fans to speculate he has been practising tracks including “Beauty and a Beat”, “Sorry”, “One Less Lonely Girl” and “Baby”, as well as potential covers.
The report said one of the most disputed possibilities is a cover of Chris Brown’s “With You”, alongside suggestions he may perform a Ne-Yo cover (“So Sick”). Fans online were shown reacting negatively to the prospect of a Chris Brown song being included, while others argued the track is significant because a Bieber cover posted to YouTube in 2008 helped draw manager Mr Scooter Braun’s attention.
The singer’s return to the stage follows the cancellation of his Justice tour in 2023 after health concerns linked to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, and recent public appearances have continued to attract attention, including when he showed off a fresh back tattoo at the Grammys.
Coachella organisers have not confirmed Bieber’s setlist, and the line-up is typically kept under wraps until the performance itself. If the leaked rehearsal clips are accurate, his show could blend early-career favourites with later-era hits, while the cover-song debate underlines how closely fans are monitoring the details of his comeback.
