During her recent tour stop in Turkey, Jennifer Lopez had an unexpected moment while shopping in Istanbul. On August 4, the singer visited a Chanel store but was turned away by security because it was already at full capacity. Reports say she responded politely and continued on to other luxury boutiques, including Celine and Beymen.
Her trip to Istanbul came just before her August 5 performance at Yenikapi Festival Park as part of the Istanbul Festival. This concert was near the end of her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour, which will conclude on August 12 in Sardinia, Italy. It was also her second time in Turkey during the tour, having performed at the Regnum Carya Resort Hotel on July 23, where she celebrated her birthday the following day.
While on tour in Madrid, Lopez met Spanish painter Esther Moya González backstage. The artist, known for live-painting musicians outside their shows, presented Lopez with a portrait she had created.
Once back in the U.S., Lopez will be preparing for the release of Kiss of the Spider Woman, a musical film written and directed by Bill Condon. The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and will be released in theaters on October 10. Based on the stage musical and the novel by Manuel Puig, the film also stars Diego Luna and Tonatiuh Elizarraraz, with Lopez playing screen diva Ingrid Luna.
