There may be some awkward tension at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, based on the newly released seating chart.
According to the chart, Leonardo DiCaprio will be seated next to Miley Cyrus, which has caught fans’ attention for an unusual reason. The two have a mildly infamous history dating back to 2015, when Cyrus publicly joked about DiCaprio during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She told a story about seeing him at a Saturday Night Live anniversary party and jokingly criticized him for not sharing his vape pen, saying there was an “etiquette” to pass it around, saying, “You need to pass that s***, Leo.”‘
Now, ten years later, the two will be sitting side by side at one of Hollywood’s biggest award shows. DiCaprio is nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for One Battle After Another, while Cyrus is up for Best Original Song for “Dream As One,” from Avatar: Fire and Ash.
