A viral Facebook post recently claimed that Erika Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk , turned down a $60 million offer from Taylor Swift to perform at TPUSA’s upcoming All-American Halftime Show. However, fact-checking confirms that the story is completely false.
The rumor began when a Facebook page called Lab Bar alleged that Swift made the multimillion-dollar offer and that Erika Kirk rejected it as a “stand against Hollywood.” The post quickly spread across social media, with thousands praising Kirk for supposedly “showing morality and values.” Some users even framed it as a reflection of the ongoing cultural divide between mainstream entertainment and conservative movements.
In reality, there is no evidence that any such offer or conversation ever took place. Neither Taylor Swift, Erika Kirk, nor TPUSA has commented on the viral claim, and no credible outlets have reported on the supposed negotiation.
The All-American Halftime Show , announced by TPUSA in October, is intended as a faith-based alternative to the Super Bowl halftime show, which this year features Bad Bunny. Despite earlier rumors of its cancellation, TPUSA’s official website confirms the event is still happening.
Since her husband’s passing earlier this year, Erika Kirk has taken a larger role within the organization. She currently leads outreach programs such as This Is the Turning Point campus tour and continues to promote her late husband’s vision of faith-driven activism. At a recent event alongside Vice President JD Vance, she reflected on Charlie’s legacy of perseverance and faith, describing how he built TPUSA “by obeying the Lord and creating something that mattered.”
