Daniel Phillip testified in court on May 12 that Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly paid him to have intimacy with singer Cassie, while Diddy watched. Phillip claimed he was paid between $700 and up to $6,000 for these encounters. Sometimes, he said, he wasn’t paid at all if he couldn’t perform. “I didn’t ask to get paid—they gave it to me,” he said.
He described the first time he met Cassie, saying she opened the door wearing lingerie, high heels, dark sunglasses, and a wig. She handed him $200, saying “your boss told me to.” Phillip said Diddy sat in the corner of the room in a bathrobe and bandanna, mas******.
Phillip said these encounters happened several times in hotel rooms. He claimed they used baby oil and that Diddy would sometimes ask for more to be used. Phillip also said Diddy made him role-play with Cassie.
In one instance, when Phillip and Cassie were alone and becoming intimate, Diddy allegedly entered the room and said he liked how they were getting along.
Phillip also claimed that Diddy recorded their activity once or twice and even took a photo of his driver’s license, allegedly saying it was “just for insurance.” Phillip took that as a threat.
This testimony was part of Diddy’s ongoing criminal trial. He was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and prostitution-related crimes. Diddy has pleaded not guilty and denied all allegations.
His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said the charges are unfair. “Mr. Combs is not a criminal,” he said, asking the public to wait for the full story to come out in court.
