A former makeup artist for Diddy and Cassie, Mylah Morales, recently testified in Diddy’s federal sex trafficking trial in New York City. She told the court she saw injuries on Cassie’s face after a confrontation with Diddy following a 2010 Grammys after-party at Prince’s Los Angeles home.
Morales said that after the party, she and Cassie went to a hotel, where Diddy showed up angrily, asking, “Where the f*** is she?” He went into a room where Cassie was, shut the door, and Morales said she heard screaming. When Diddy left, Cassie came out with a swollen eye, a busted lip, and bumps on her head.
Morales helped Cassie pack her things, and they went to Morales’ home for a few days. A doctor friend checked Cassie and suggested she go to the hospital, but Cassie refused. Morales also said they didn’t call the police and that she was afraid of Diddy and feared for her own safety.
She admitted to later doing media interviews about the incident and said she sold some related photos to CNN for $1,000.
This testimony is part of an ongoing trial that includes other witnesses like Kid Cudi, who also shared his own experiences involving Cassie and Diddy.
