Brooklyn Beckham reportedly did not mention his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, in his speech at his vow renewal ceremony with Nicola Peltz. An insider told the Mirror that Brooklyn spoke from the heart, focusing on Nicola and the Peltz family, who he feels have always supported him. He wanted to thank them and make sure they felt recognized.
The ceremony was held earlier this month at the Peltz family home with around 200 guests. Photos showed Nicola with her parents and siblings, but Victoria and David were not there. Instead, they were seen on vacation in St. Tropez.
Sources told People that Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their vows to celebrate their love and the commitment they have built since their 2022 wedding. Nicola later posted photos on Instagram saying the day was very meaningful to them.
Rumors of tension between Brooklyn and his family have been growing. In June, Page Six reported that he was no longer in contact with his parents or his siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper, after he and Nicola skipped David’s 50th birthday party.
Nicola’s friend Rebecca Faria defended her online. She said people should not judge without knowing the real story. According to her, the Beckhams tried to control everything and turned on Nicola when they could not. She described Nicola as genuine, humble and not interested in fame or money.
