Charlie Kirk suggested that one reason Taylor Swift has become “liberal” is because she isn’t married and doesn’t have children. He argued that marriage and parenthood “change you,” and he hopes that her relationship with Travis Kelce (“the pharmaceutical spokesperson,” as Kirk called him) might lead her to adopt more conservative views.
Kirk claimed that if Swift were to have children, she would move away from supporting liberal causes and Democratic politicians like Joe Biden. He said she should have more children than houses and that starting a family could make her a better role model for young women, instead of focusing only on career success into her mid-30s.
He described Swift’s current image as part of the “island of the wokeys” and said conservatives would welcome her if she embraced traditional family roles. Kirk encouraged her to “reject feminism,” “submit to [her] husband,” and stop presenting herself as being in charge.
Kirk joked about Swift changing her name to “Taylor Kelce” if she marries Travis Kelce, saying that if she doesn’t take his last name, “you don’t really mean it.” He added sarcastically that he looked forward to attending a “Taylor Kelce concert.”
