Sean Preston Adds Spears Surname On Instagram
Ms Britney Spears’ eldest son, Mr Sean Preston, has changed his Instagram handle to include his mother’s surname while leaving off his father’s, in a move that has drawn attention following a recent family reunion. The change comes after the 20-year-old spent time with the singer during a yacht trip, where he was photographed with Ms Spears and his younger brother, Mr Jayden.
Mr Sean Preston now uses the name “Sean P Spears” on Instagram, and Page Six reported that his previous handle was simply “Sean Preston”, citing TMZ in its account of the update.
Ms Spears, 44, posted images from the weekend trip showing both sons with her, with the reunion described as notable because she has been seen publicly with Mr Jayden more frequently than with Mr Sean Preston in recent years. Page Six also reported that Ms Spears had wanted her son to join her and Mr Jayden for the holidays in California in December, but he declined at the time.
The shift in public visibility follows renewed focus on Ms Spears’ family life, including her return to Instagram with videos featuring Mr Jayden after her DUI arrest, as she continues to share personal updates online.
A source quoted by the outlet said both sons were supporting Ms Spears after she was arrested on March 4 on suspicion of driving under the influence in Ventura, California, and released the following morning. Ms Spears later posted a message thanking supporters and describing time with family and friends as “such a blessing”.
