Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father, has warned that Kanye West may face consequences for insulting his daughter and her children. West might also be in legal trouble after what he said.
Knowles, 73, told TMZ, “People pay a price for being stupid, especially in the music industry.” He also said he hopes Kanye gets the help he needs, acknowledging that the rapper’s recent behavior may be linked to his mental health struggles.
His comments came after West, 47, made a post on X (formerly Twitter) about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, questioning their intelligence. He later deleted the post, saying he didn’t want his account to be suspended.
The next day, Kanye said he felt “bad” about his remarks but quickly shifted to criticizing Beyoncé and Jay-Z. He accused them of standing by while the Kardashians “ran him over” during his marriage to Kim Kardashian.
West did not mention Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s eldest daughter, 13-year-old Blue Ivy. So far, Beyoncé, 43, and Jay-Z, 55, have not publicly responded. However, a source told Page Six that the couple is discussing how to handle the situation, possibly through legal action.
“Jay-Z and Beyoncé are aware of the posts Kanye has since deleted and are considering whether to handle this privately or take legal steps,” the source said.
Kim Kardashian is reportedly upset about Kanye’s behavior. A source told Page Six, “Kim has had enough. No matter what feud Kanye has with Jay-Z and Beyoncé, kids are off limits.”
Recently, Kardashian and West have struggled with co-parenting. She was reportedly angry when Kanye released a song featuring their 11-year-old daughter, North West, alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs and Christian “King” Combs.
Kim allegedly tried to stop the song’s release to protect North. The former couple also shares three other children: Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5.
