The Guinness is flowing, Noel Gallagher is all smiles, and in one corner, Jack Grealish is playing Westlife songs. Backstage at the Oasis reunion tour doesn’t feel like a typical concert, it’s more like a big wedding party. There’s excitement, nostalgia, and surprisingly, no drama.
After 16 years, Liam and Noel Gallagher are finally back together on stage, performing to huge crowds and glowing reviews. Friends, footballers, and other famous faces are joining them at each stop of the tour, adding to the celebration.
The Oasis Live ‘25 tour was announced in August and quickly became the biggest concert launch ever in the UK and Ireland. Over 10 million fans from 158 countries tried to get tickets.
The tour began in Cardiff earlier this month and included five big shows at Heaton Park in Manchester between 11 and 20 July. Backstage at these concerts, the atmosphere has been lively and packed with celebrities. Football stars like Jack Grealish and Phil Foden have been hanging out with Noel and Richard Ashcroft, who performs before Oasis each night.
After one of the Manchester shows, Grealish even played Westlife music from his phone for a crowd that included Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder, Vincent Kompany, and Rodri. The band Cast, who also open for Ashcroft, were there too.
“It feels like going to a wedding every night,” one source said. “There’s a bar for friends and family with free drinks, Guinness, beer, wine, and champagne. Everyone is having a great time.”
Another insider said Noel seems happier than ever, especially with his girlfriend Sally Mash supporting him at the shows. She’s been cheering for him during performances of classics like “Champagne Supernova” and “Little By Little.”
Noel and Mash have reportedly been dating for over a year. She’s often seen at celebrity spots with him and has been a regular presence during the tour.
One person who hasn’t attended yet is Noel and Liam’s mother, Peggy. She hasn’t seen a show, but plans to be at one of the Wembley concerts. Noel also hopes she’ll come to the Dublin performance.
Despite earlier reports that Liam and Noel were being kept apart backstage due to past arguments, things seem to be going smoothly. They’ve been seen walking on stage together, even holding hands.
Liam, however, has been keeping to himself after shows. He’s avoiding the post-concert drinks and focusing on staying healthy for each performance. Instead of partying, he’s been drinking a mix of apple cider vinegar, honey, turmeric, cayenne pepper, lemon, and hot water, his way of managing symptoms of Hashimoto’s disease, which affects the voice.
