Adele Struggles To Walk Onstage After Health Problem

Adele just revealed very sad news. The news from Adele is that she’s suffering from a health condition — and it’s impacting her ability to walk.

No one ever wants to see anyone in pain and it has been awful to hear that someone as strong as Adele is currently going through this.

Via Buzzfeed, During the New Year’s Eve show at her Las Vegas residency, Adele told the audience she was dealing with sciatica. Sciatica is a condition that causes intense pain along the sciatic nerve, which runs from the lower back through the hips and down each leg.

This was first noticed when she was having difficulty walking across the stage. She then had no choice but to open up.

She said: “I have to waddle these days as I have really bad sciatica.”

This isn’t the first time the singer has opened up about her struggle with back pain either. She previously suffered from two slipped discs. She says she first slipped a disc as a teenager when she sneezed hard enough to do some serious damage and then hurt her back again in early 2021.

She continued: “I’ve been in pain with my back for, like, half of my life, really,” Adele shared with The Face. “It flares up, normally due to stress or from a stupid bit of posture.”

Thankfully, Adele says she’s been able to find some relief, particularly when she started working on strengthening her core muscles. Despite the pain, Adele is pushing onwards with her Las Vegas residency, which is set to run through March of this year.

There are some procedures that can be done to help remedy this, but as of now, there is no word on if Adele will choose to go that far.
