Prince William Says George Is Boarding at Lambrook
Prince William has confirmed that Prince George is currently boarding at Lambrook School, offering a rare insight into the Wales family’s routine as their eldest child approaches the move to secondary education. The update came during the Prince of Wales’s live radio appearance this week.
While speaking on Heart Radio with Ms Amanda Holden and Mr Jamie Theakston, the Prince referred to the family’s morning schedule and mentioned that “George is boarding last night”, a detail that clarified the 11-year-old’s current school arrangements, Hello Magazine reported.
In the same conversation, Prince William described how “chaotic” mornings can be, citing music lessons and decisions about transport and social plans as part of the pre-school rush. He also used the broadcast to send a message to his younger children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, urging them to be on time and not argue about what to listen to.
The disclosure is likely to intensify attention on Prince George’s next step, with speculation continuing over whether he will attend Eton College like his father or consider other options. Prince William’s Heart Radio appearance also drew notice this week after he spoke warmly about Catherine, the Princess of Wales during a separate segment of the same programme.
Lambrook’s boarding provision is understood to offer flexible stays for pupils aged seven to 13, and the family’s decision comes as George completes his final year at the Berkshire school. No official announcement has been made about where he will continue his education next year.
