Prince William Praises Kate on Heart FM
Prince William has made a rare public comment about Catherine, the Princess of Wales, saying their family “couldn’t cope without” her as she continues her return to duties following cancer treatment. The Prince of Wales spoke during a live radio appearance from the Isles of Scilly, where he is carrying out engagements linked to the Duchy of Cornwall.
During the Heart FM broadcast, Prince William said he was “so proud” of Catherine and added that she is “an amazing mum, an amazing wife”, while describing how the family relied on her during her recovery, Hello Magazine reported.
The prince also spoke about Catherine’s gradual resumption of overseas travel, saying she is “edging herself back” into more visits but that they have to make sure she is rested. He described her as a “proper pro” and joked about the amount of paperwork she reads in the evenings as part of her work, particularly on early childhood.
The comments follow Catherine’s recent trip to Italy, her first official visit abroad since her diagnosis, which Britpop News previously covered when her Italy visit was seen as a ‘back in business’ signal as she stepped up her public schedule.
Prince William’s radio interview also touched on family life and his music tastes, including requesting Taylor Swift for his children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Later in the day, he is due to open a new facility intended to increase medical capacity and improve access to healthcare across the Isles of Scilly.
