Travis Kelce has revealed Taylor Swift’s lighthearted verdict on NFL legend Jerome Bettis after the singer watched highlight clips of the former Pittsburgh Steelers running back. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared the story on the “New Heights” podcast, adding another pop-culture moment to the couple’s high-profile relationship.
Kelce said Swift quipped that Bettis looked “like an offensive lineman running with the football” when he played her a highlight tape after meeting the Pro Football Hall of Famer at dinner, Yardbarker reported, noting the story was originally posted by Larry Brown Sports.
Kelce recalled the exchange as his brother and co-host Jason Kelce laughed in the background, with the clip later shared on social media by the show’s account. Bettis, nicknamed “The Bus”, was known for his power running style during a career that included stints with the Los Angeles Rams and the Steelers.
The Yardbarker piece also reiterated Bettis’s on-field credentials, describing him as a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro who finished with 13,662 rushing yards and 91 rushing touchdowns across 192 games.
