Noel and Liam Gallagher celebrate together after Man City’s FA Cup win
Noel and Liam Gallagher were pictured smiling and celebrating together at Wembley Stadium as Manchester City lifted the FA Cup following a 1-0 win over Chelsea.
The brothers watched from an executive box as Antoine Semenyo scored the match’s only goal in the 72nd minute, and they stayed on to see Prince William present the trophy to City captain Bernardo Silva, Mirror reported.
Silva, who said he is leaving Manchester City at the end of the season, described the victory as a special way to finish his time at the club and said the team still has “a small dream” to fight for the Premier League title.
The Wembley appearance also follows previous public moments featuring the brothers together, including when Liam Gallagher heckled fans with Noel at a match earlier this season.
Manchester City’s win meant the club claimed both domestic cup competitions this season, with the Mirror noting Pep Guardiola has now won 20 major trophies since taking charge. City are due to play Bournemouth away on Tuesday, while Chelsea face Tottenham on Tuesday before both clubs complete their league campaigns on Sunday.
